Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Guarantee of quality:
Krysia’s Cards: Guarantees that all cards are produced by hand using a variety of artistic materials and techniques. As all cards are individually hand made, products may vary slightly but in no way will quality be reduced.
1a: Copyright: In order to keep the price to our customers down we do not usually charge for the sometimes extensive design time, but we do reserve the right to display any creation for future possible sales to other customers based on the design.

2. Payment options:
Krysia’s Cards accept Cash or Cheque upon delivery of your order. No facility to pay via Credit Card is yet in operation. All orders must be paid for at time of delivery. All cheques to be made payable to “Krysia’s Cards”.

3. Deposits:
A deposit of 45% of the total sale will be required at the time of order to cover manufacturing costs, this is a non-refundable deposit and will be deducted from you total order upon invoice.

4. Delivery Methods and Times:
We will use UK packet / parcel post. Delivery Schedule: As all cards are individually handmade we have a basic lead-time of 2 weeks from confirmation of order. During busy periods this lead-time may be extended but we will always endeavour to fulfil your requests and keep you aware of lead times. If in doubt, order early to avoid disappointment or low stock levels. If for any reason we have no stock of a particular design then an alternative will be sent in its place.

5. Delivery Charges:
Postal/delivery charged at cost.

6. Returns procedure:
Krysia’s Cards makes every effort to ensure that all items arrive in perfect condition and are of the best quality. If any items are damaged in any way, you should contact us immediately and return the damaged stock with 7 days. We will either send you replacements or reimbursement upon receipt of the goods.

7. Refunds:
Refunds for valid claims will be made by cheque.

8. VAT
VAT is included in the price of your order. Krysia’s Cards is currently exempt from VAT.

9. Order Confirmations:
Upon submitting an order to us you will receive a copy of the order and be given a lead-time. If payment is made at the time of order then a receipt will be given.

10. Confirmation of Despatch:
If required these will be sent by email, post or telephone.

11. Invoices:
An invoice will be included with the delivery.

12. Data Protection:
Krysia’s Cards does not sell anyone its database of customers and the information contained on the database remains confidential to the company. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not email you unless you have given us consent to do so.

13. Unforeseen circumstances:
While every effort will be made to meet your demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of any Act of God, Fire, War, Flood, Drought or other causes beyond our control.

14. Complaints, Problems or Queries:
If you have anything that you want to discuss with us then please do not hesitate in contacting us by telephone or post or email. All enquiries will be acknowledged within 24hours. Any complaint will be dealt with within seven working days and will be dealt with effectively, fairly and confidentially. These terms and conditions do not affect your consumer’s statutory rights.

15. Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and you hereby agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
